Experienced site manager to join an expanding regional team to work on building projects up to £10m.
- Prepare short term programmes compatible with main contract programme and liaise with Project Manager to ensure that adequate resources are made available to maintain required progress.
- Develop method statements/risk assessments as necessary to ensure that work on site is properly executed.
- Ensure that adequate records are maintained.
- Ensure that the company’s administrative, quality assurance, Health & Safety, and financial procedures are complied with.
- Liaise with Project Manager to ensure consistency of approach and communication necessary to satisfy the requirements of the project and the Company
- Technical qualification to BSc/HND/C. or proven trade management expertise.
- Minimum eight years site experience.
- A proven ability to manage projects in excess of £3m without assistance.
- Commercial acumen.
- An ability to lead staff and create teamwork with all involved parties.
- Ability to represent the Company to the Client and Design Team.
- Someone with less experience would typically be an Assistant Site Manager.
Purpose of the Role
A senior site based representative, providing day to day administration, control and co-ordination of site activities as required by the Project Manager.Key Responsibilities
