OASIS ACADEMY REACHES THE TOP
Clugston Construction’s project team passed another milestone on the new £19m Oasis Academy, Wintringham as the building structure reached its highest level.
To mark the occasion a topping out ceremony was held. Jane Bowman, Principal of the Academy secured the final piece of roofing into place.
As pupils and representatives from Oasis Community Learning, the local community and Clugston watched on, Jane said “I am delighted with the progress of our building project and the commitment of Clugstons. Their professional approach to working in partnership with the Academy has resulted in minimal disruption to the life of the Academy. Clugstons have worked hard to maximize the educational potential of this project for both our staff and students. I would not hesitate in recommending Clugstons for similar projects in the future – they really are delivering a first class service”
The new academy due to open in September 2008, will cater for 1,100 11-19 year olds.
