Highways Alliance Responsiblities Expand

Clugston Construction's remit under the Highways Alliance agreement has been given additional duties.

North Lincolnshire Council has extended the responsibilities of the framework agreement to include road surface dressing around the region.

From Thursday (23rd) Clugston’s team will commence works on several roads spraying them with hot bitumen and stone chippings, a process which prevents water getting into the roads foundations and increases the safety of the road.

Clugston chief executive Stephen Martin said: “ We have had the alliance contract for a number of years but the council was pleased with our performance and extended the contract for a further 3 years earlier this year.  We are delighted they are adding additional services into the original agreement. “
