Croda - Cowick Hall Project

Work is nearing completion on the design and build scheme for Croda International Plc, one of the worlds leading specialist chemicals companies, at their headquarters at Snaith. Near Goole.

The project which includes the extension and expansion of existing offices and laboratories along with associated external works, is being carried out within the grounds of Cowick Hall, a magnificent Listed Grand Hall. This involved the Clugston team in a number of complex phasing operations to connect the new accommodation into the existing facilities. The construction of both buildings incorporates a steel frame, solid zinc roof coverings, through coloured render and curtain walling.

An interesting part of the scheme is the use of ground source heat pumps to supply the under floor heating system.
