Town Centre Redevelopment

Scunthorpe

The Parishes is a redevelopment of Scunthorpe's busy town centre and includes a transport interchange, three major stores, 30 retail units, a 7 screen multiplex cinema complex seating 1700 moviegoers and roads and infrastructure. The steel framed, pre cast floored, brick, artstone and panel clad development is linked to the 7 level 700 space car park, also part of the scheme, by escalators and a footbridge. As interface with the public was constant, public access areas and safety were paramount and measures to deal with these aspects were carefully planned, developed and monitored. This project has also been nominated for a Considerate Constructors Award.
