Superstore and Petrol Filling Station

For over 3 decades, Clugston have been building superstores for Morrisons, the latest one in Hull was completed in record time of 34 weeks – 12 weeks ahead of schedule.

This superstore was the quickest new build store ever completed for Morrisons by any contractor to date in the country. The supermarket group now use this scheme as a standard.

The construction of this new superstore and a car park was on a brownfield site adjacent to the existing store. Once the new buid store was complete, the existing store was demolished making way for the new petrol station and an additional car parking area.

Access and trade was maintained at all times during construction necessitating high profile communications with the customer, shoppers; the general public and local residents along site boundary.
