This is a partnering contract using NEC Option C Target Cost to construct a 2 storey extension to the existing college within the confines of a ‘live’ college campus, to a demanding budget. Key factors have been to carry out the construction works with the minimum impact on the day to day running of the colleges. The project included teaching space dedicated to animal husbandry and research into nutritional diets. Additional single storey auxiliary buildings consisting of teaching blocks, equipment storage, greenhouse and animal sheds.
The Clugston Team along with our Supply Chain has had substantial involvement within the design development process, ensuring that risks to the project delivery were discussed and removed in the early stages, ultimately embracing Best Value ethos throughout.
