Warehouse Extension

A £5.5m design and build extension to match the existing national distribution centre for Arco. This 8,000sq m extension doubled the size of Arcoʼs existing aware- winning warehouse, a landmark building on the A63 gateway to Hull. The extension matches the existing building with 30m high stadium-type supporting steelwork in striking blue.

The contract included the construction of a high tolerance reinforced floor, suspended on approximately 1,000 piles, M&E and sprinkler installation to both the new extension and the existing warehouse, racking area and offices. External works were carried out to the service yard, car park and conservation area.
