Military Courts Martial Building

Design and Construction of a new 2 storey Military Court Centre. The build was designed for progressive collapse and was required to be “blast” proof. The building contains two courthouses with supporting offices and utility areas, connecting corridors, public and restricted access. The internal finishes were constructed to a very high standard with acoustics being of paramount importance.

External works consisted of a substantial car park, security fences, pavements with an adoptable cyclepath and an entrance road. Works were undertaken adjacent to the existing barracks whilst maintaining full security measures. The building was also designed to take into account the existing topograph and was sympathetically positioned to enable the existing mature trees to form part of the landscaping scheme.
